Glide forever seamlessly

hoping dreaming bitter

conniving fox piling up

you hopeless romantic

forever seeking beauty

thriving for knowing words

pithy reminders; the horrors of being

Human

I burn my hair, my skin feels unclean

and yet I long for touch

I want to be collected

with a hint of all encompassing

fervent, self-giving despair

Shine your shoes for the fat lady

Walk the thorny woods

To gaze in whirlpools of glowing amber

To feel my destiny intertwined (with yours)

A time will come when I will find you

and we both will know life cannot go

any other way, but transfixed

Between our souls churning spells

of life, death, justice

overflowing

Hear the mermaids singing

through a shell in my heart

lingering forever

on your heart beat

your blood stained hands

berry juice on your lips

frantic inhale of ocean wind

your hair is fallen like our lives are fallen

leaves transferring life lines

like shimmers of faeries

beautiful witches who grow old

over bubbling cauldrons

fingers sucking raspberries

an ability to adore a spirit

through the scent of a cotton mill

two fresh snowflakes

Suffer to know there will be

Relief beyond the monotony

Of premature guesses

I grow wintertime in my hair

Swerving through delicate membranes

Of sound color light transfixed on

Our bleeding

(on) the first breath of air

When the ice on the water finally

breaks.
